I'M FIRED-UP THAT YOU'RE HERE
I'm known by a lot of titles and names... mom, coach, Dustin's wife, that girl that sings at church, and daughter of the King.
In case you missed the home page bit about me, let's sum it up like this.
I used to be a people-pleasing, co-dependent, over-acheiver that was super successful in building a business that ended up robbing me of all the actual good stuff in life.
I had the half-million-dollars-per-year business, the team, the systems, the growth, the admiration, the awards... oh and the nice cars and big house and great neighborhood... The things I was supposed to want. The things culture defines as "the good stuff."
I HAD EXACTLY WHAT I HAD BEEN BUILDING FOR YEARS. AND I WAS STUCK.
Successful but not happy.
Anxious.
Sound familiar?
I was chasing success and trying to BE ENOUGH. But I couldn't ever get to "enough" and truth was, I was miserable.
I hit the proverbial wall. Hard. Something had to change.

I didn't wake up one day and slap COACH on the door (don't even get me started on that nonsense). I take training and excellence seriously.

GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY
I'D LIVED IN fear. BUT IT WAS TIME FOR freedom.
God had been there all my life. I was on the executive leadership team at our church. But I was doing everything on my own. My plans. "My" dreams (actually they were dreams I bought of who I was supposed to be). My effort. My strength.
So I said, "Ok, lets try this your way."
I decided to walk the talk of my faith and let God lead. And then everything started to shift.
I started to understand how I was wired and what I was built for.
I started to see my gifts and talents.
I let go of toxic relationships and commitments.
I learned what boundaries were and created them.
I even began to love myself.
GOD CHANGED THE WAY I THINK
I found myself. I found purpose. I found what fires me up.
And then He said to drop the business like it's on fire. And I did (after some argument and circling the block...).
I WALKED AWAY FROM MY "SUCCESSFUL" CAREER, THE PAYCHEQUE, AND THE IMAGE THAT WENT WITH IT.
