Energy Vampire Defined:
🧛♀️ Someone who sucks up everything you have to give without giving back.
🧛♂️ Someone who believes they are owed your time and energy but they don’t owe you theirs.
🧛 Someone you have very few boundaries (or maybe none) and you ALLOW them to take all your time and energy.
They’re the people (and sometime commitments) in your life that make you cringe.
They’re the ones who call you and you go into fight/flight when you see their name come up.
They’re the ones who don’t want you to succeed at you biggest dreams.
Here’s the tough truth (that I had to learn too):
📣 ITS YOUR FAULT THAT YOU’RE SURROUNDED BY THEM!
Your lack of boundaries, your lack of self-love, your way of showing up, your addiction to giving, and your people-pleasing and hiding your authentic and powerful self has TRAINED THEM to show up this way.
It’s ALLOWED them access to you.
YOU’RE ROBBING YOURSELF OF YOUR OWN FREEDOM IN ALLOWING IT TO CONTINUE
🛑 STOP IT 🛑
It’s that easy and it isn’t. When I started this process, fear showed up all over the place.
What if I get abandoned, judged, guilted?
Will I be alone?
Will I be loveable?
Will I sabotage the success I’ve been trying to build?
But that drained and stuck feeling that’s been plaguing you, I promise you that starts to leave and you’ll be filled up with something better.
CLARITY
You can’t do it alone. You need to replace the space these people fill with better people. You need support. And you need a guide 🙋🏼♀️
